Boehner, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said that the Justice Department shared the view of plaintiffs in a lawsuit in Massachusetts that such laws &#8212; including a part of the Defense of Marriage Act, and statutes governing veterans&#8217; benefits &#8212; are unconstitutional.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; z-index: 20; position: relative; color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; padding: 0px;\">Good for the administration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 0px; font-size: 14px; line-height: 21px; z-index: 20; position: relative; color: #000000; font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; padding: 0px;\">In the bigger picture, this belongs on a growing list of positive steps the administration has taken in this area over the last three years.
