written after the two McCain&#8217;s (Cindy and Meghan) joined the campaign.\u00a0 Worth a read.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of Prop 8, you&#8217;re telling me that the<a href=\"http:\/\/andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com\/the_daily_dish\/2010\/01\/the-prop-8-trial-document-dump.html\"> LDS church didn&#8217;t want anyone to know that they were involved<\/a>?\u00a0 I&#8217;m supposed to be surprised, right?\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com\/the_daily_dish\/2010\/01\/the-mormon-hierarchys-plausible-deniability-ctd.html\">Here&#8217;s the followup<\/a>, it&#8217;s just as important as the first link, as it corrects some of the reporting.\u00a0 Basically, it&#8217;s not a direct quote, but how a witness observed the communication.<\/p>\n<p>Patrick, once again, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dmbosstone.com\/2010\/01\/the-internet-as-a-support-group\/\">has an awesome blog post<\/a>, this time about the Internet as support group, including a note from &#8220;The interwebs.&#8221;\u00a0 A little past Cluetrain, but still related, so I&#8217;m going to tag it.<\/p>\n<p>Go, right now, and play <a href=\"http:\/\/www.firstpersontetris.com\/\">first person tetris<\/a>.\u00a0 Enjoy!\u00a0 And speaking of video games, hardcausal has an awesome article about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hardcasual.net\/2009\/12\/05\/games-explained-to-my-89-year-old-grandmother\/\">explaining games to your grandmother<\/a>.\u00a0 Worth a read.\u00a0 And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gonintendo.com\/viewstory.php?id=111122\">Nintendo Power makes fun of&#8230;Nintendo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theladyscoutarcher.blogspot.com\/2010\/01\/attack-of-scout-or-video-games-are.html\">Guinevere the Boy Scout returns<\/a>, check out her latest post here, an awesome entry about the Winter Parent and Son weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The following video is supposedly DVR proof.\u00a0 The concept is sound, and I believe proven.\u00a0 If you keep your product in the middle of the screen, even someone fast forwarding through the commercials will see it long enough to make an impression in your brain.\u00a0 And while yes, that is true, this ad misses the mark.\u00a0 Seeing a picture of a grasshopper does in no way make me want to purchase their phone, it doesn&#8217;t even correlate, because the brand isn&#8217;t in my mind first of all, and secondly, since it isnt, there isn&#8217;t enough time for me to see the tiny phone and make the connection.\u00a0 Not bad for effort, but totally missing the mark:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1098\" height=\"824\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GHCRGsBSBHI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p>Contrary to the title, I did not find most of these funny.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/spyrestudios.com\/hilarious-print-ads\/\">While I do think they are good ads<\/a>, not hilarious by any means.<\/p>\n<p>Caution, more fun animals: Ok, moose are funny enough when they walk or run, they appear as though they\u00a0 just have extra joints and their limbs just kind of flail about.\u00a0 And the music in this video is awful.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wimp.com\/babymoose\"> But watch it anyway, just on mute<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Have I mentioned how much I love <a href=\"http:\/\/slog.thestranger.com\/slog\/archives\/2010\/01\/21\/the-supreme-court-decision-todaydiscuss\">Representative Grayson<\/a>?\u00a0 And I&#8217;m still trying to learn more about the Supreme Court decision, apparently it doesn&#8217;t&#8217;
