{"id":988,"date":"2011-03-05T22:06:37","date_gmt":"2011-03-05T22:06:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/michaelcrane.net\/wp\/2011\/03\/05\/wherein-i-have-a-couple-random-updates-all-at-once\/"},"modified":"2011-03-05T22:06:37","modified_gmt":"2011-03-05T22:06:37","slug":"wherein-i-have-a-couple-random-updates-all-at-once","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/michaelcrane.net\/wp\/wherein-i-have-a-couple-random-updates-all-at-once\/","title":{"rendered":"Wherein I have a couple random updates all at once"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Written: 03\/05\/2011<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Couple updates from various places:<\/p>\n<p>First up, the Presbyterian Church is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.courier-journal.com\/article\/20110228\/FEATURES10\/302280073\/1001\/Support-ordaining-gays-grows-among-Presbyterian-governing-bodies?odyssey=mod\">growing in support for equality<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Concerned Women for America&#8221; need punched in the face.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/joemygod.blogspot.com\/2011\/03\/concerned-women-are-concernstipated.html\">a line from their latest news release<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 85%;\">DOJ\u2019s mission statement says it is \u201c&#8230;to ensure fair and impartial administration of justice for all Americans.\u201d But President Obama and the attorney general have made a mockery of impartiality. They have chosen to side with an extreme, liberal minority and chose to suppress the rights of the majority of Americans.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yes, how dare the DOJ and The President choose to &#8220;suppress the rights of the majority of Americans.&#8221;\u00a0 Even if that were true, which is not, a majority of Americans do not oppose (or support, but that side has more) marriage equality, how dare The President not let people discriminate!\u00a0 How dare you take away my right to discriminate, that&#8217;s&#8230;discrimination!<\/p>\n<p>And again, please, show me how two men getting married personally affects you.\u00a0 Because I&#8217;m interested.\u00a0 It&#8217;s fun to know I have that much power!<\/p>\n<p>And continuing with some DOMA news, this week&#8217;s &#8220;That&#8217;s Gay&#8221; is amazing:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-kffThytmCk <\/p>\n<p>All my best,<\/p>\n<p>The King of Spades<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Written: 03\/05\/2011 Couple updates from various places: First up, the Presbyterian Church is growing in support for equality!
