Today's Mighty Oak

I’ll be back with my own video soon, but in the meantime, two end of the year videos to share.

First up, the Google Year in Search:

And DJ Earworm’s United States of Pop:

So it’s been a minute since I’ve done these, and I partially forgot how much work they are, but I’m back at it, and here is my 2018 year in review! These are the big events from the year, the things I did and the things that made me smile! There’s always so many pictures that I initially pull that don’t make it in, which is always sad, but I’m still pretty happy with how this one turned out!

It’s been a year. But at least we got some videos to celebrate its end!

Here is DJ Earworm’s United State of Pop:

And a bonus from DJ Earworm, all the top songs from 1970 to 2020:

And of course, the year in search from Google, always a great/tough one to watch:

I’ll be back with my own end of the year wrap-up(s) soon!

Here’s my yearly roundup of all the yearly wrap up videos. First up, YouTube Rewind. This may be the last year I include it. One, it’s not a great video, and two, I recognize less and less of these creators each year. My bits of Youtube aren’t represented (and that’s okay!).

Next up, DJ Earworm’s United State of Pop:

And here is Google’s year in search:

I’m working on putting together my 2018 year in review video, that will be up sometime soon!

Each year I go through and put together a year in review video.  I pull pictures and videos from the things I did and what made me happy that year.  2017 was a tough year.  But looking back through, a lot of good happened too.  A lot that made me smile.

As always, and very sadly, I can never include everything in these.  And this year, there seemed like more that I had to cut due to time constraints than ever before.  These are just some of the things that I did last year, and some of what brought me joy.  Here’s to the new year.

Each year I pull together the year in review videos that I see, and don’t worry, I am working on my own year in review video (although it might come out a few days after the New Year).

First up, the amazing video from Google:

DJ Earworm returns with his mashup of the year:

And here is this year’s Youtube Rewind, which, I really actually don’t like that much, mostly because there are only a very small few of these creators that I recognize and watch, but it’s still kind of fun:
