Quick update with some links, I’m on my laptop right now, I have a couple other things to add, but my list is elsewhere, so they will have to wait.
A scientist is claiming he has created life, or at least part of life: 1/5 an entire DNA strand. Check out the article here, it’s an interesting read, and could have cool implications, but like it says, nothing has been verified yet.
The AARP is following a story about suing a K-mart here in Pa (the woman is actually from Murrysville). While, I understand that retail outlets should be held accountable for what they are charging, it’s really a bit ridiculous, especially since she’s tried this multiple times at various stores, at some point, you need to buck up and pay seven cents. And another link for you, discussing writer’s rights. The article itself is funny, in a sarcastic sort of way, so it’s worth a read.
