Alright, I’m set to start my ninth year of NaNoWriMo at midnight tonight, so here’s some fun stuff to get us through:
John Oliver is providing the best stock video to cover the Supreme Court.
I love the new ad from Google:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRmgMe2STL0
Gov. Corbett photoshopped an African-American woman into his website imagery, so Brian Sims photoshopped himself in. You know, in case the Governor wants to reach out to the LGBT community too.
A good video about why the Washington football team needs to change their name.
The awesome new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron:
Would you rather see that trailer set to “My Heart Will Go On”? Are you sure? Because it works.
And along those lines, a great idea: the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack will be available on cassette!
Tongue in cheek: What if straight people had to come out? Funny.
HomeStarRunner is back for Halloween!
OK Go is back, and it’s, as always, amazing:
So this is actually (sadly) progress: a Southern Baptist leader speaks out against anti-gay torture.
Will we have nuclear fusion soon?
And in other science news, a dam that looks like the Sarlacc from Star Wars!
I used to read Andrew Sullivan a lot (although he kept moving sites and I never kept up). It always bugged me that he was one of the loudest voices beating the war drums for the U.S. to invade Iraq. And now, apparently, he thinks the murder of Matthew Shepherd wasn’t a hate crime. I’m officially done with the horrible man.
That’s it for now, have a great one!
