Quick update on something weird that’s been on the radio: They are running a promo for a new mother/daughter beauty pageant and aparantly are looking for groups of two to start off their pageant career on the air. But the thing is: it’s a beauty pageant on the radio. Yes that’s right, a beauty pageant on the radio. No video, just audio…
Interesting. On another random radio note, Star runs the five o’clock "my pop." Which is an all-request hour (now down to half an hour) where people call in and are put on the air. But even though people know they are calling into a request show, they stutter and stammer, without a clue as to what they want to hear. And day after day they do it. Hence, I’m trying to listen to my CDs during my evening commute instead of the radio.
