Today's Mighty Oak

Police are baffled today by a corpse found in a local cemetery.

I’ll have an update later about my trip to NYC (spoiler: it was amazing), but here’s what else has come across.

Dark Horse is going to debut an American Sign Language font (for a gorilla) this year for Free Comic Book Day.

A bit ironic, and sad: statue of Pope John Paul II fell over and crushed a man.

Thank you for being a (super) friend:

The crazy rancher who is currently the Republican man of the moment, claims he’s totally not racist, guys.  Spoiler: he is.

I had no idea that a ‘zonkey’ was a thing.  But one was born!

So this mash-up is now a thing:

I’m very sad about the annihilation of the Star Wars Expanded Universe.  I’m still excited about the new movies, but sad that it looks like we’re losing Mara, Thrawn, Jacen and all the rest.

New Warhol’s have been discovered, on floppy disks!

And it turns out the urban legends are true, the first of the E.T. cartridges have been dug up.

That’s it for now, have a great one!
